Senior Artist (3D / Generalist)

About this role
We’re looking for a Senior 3D Artist with a strong creative eye and a proven ability to deliver high-fidelity content in PlayCanvas and Unity. You’ll be hands-on with the tools, crafting visually striking 3D assets and CG animations that bring worlds to life.
We’re looking for someone who can translate iconic IP into captivating, playable experiences through thoughtful design, technical finesse, and a sharp sense of visual storytelling.
You’ll join a creative team building the next generation of interactive fan experiences. Working with autonomy, you’ll shape the visual quality of projects while collaborating closely with other artists and engineers who share your focus on craft, polish, and exceptional execution.

Responsibilities
Adapt your workflow to meet the creative and technical needs of each project - from stylised to realistic IP-based worlds.
Work with the team to plan asset pipelines and ensure models perform well on web and mobile platforms.
Create high-quality 3D assets optimised for real-time use in PlayCanvas and or Unity.
Collaborate closely with designers and developers to ensure 3D models integrate seamlessly into gameplay and the overall visual direction.
Requirements
Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modelling and texturing for real-time applications (ideally games or interactive experiences).
Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Blender preferred)
Understanding of low-poly modelling, UV unwrapping, and texture optimisation for performance.
Experience exporting and preparing assets for web-based engines, ideally PlayCanvas (or similar engines like Unity or Unreal).
Experience implementing assets in-engine, demonstrating a good grasp of real-time lighting, materials and scene composition.
Ability to work in small, cross-functional teams on fast-moving creative projects.
Nice-to-haves
Experience building interactive 3D scenes in PlayCanvas or other WebGL environments.
Experience building UI.
Experience of rigging and animation.
A strong sense of interaction and game design.
